About ALR
Anime Love Reports is an anime and manga site dedicated to the fans of anime and manga. It is a rather small site, but we don't mind taking it one step at a time. We, of ALR, are not trying to become the best of the best of all sites related to anime/manga, we are simply trying to create an alternative place for fans to hang out and enjoy themselves.
And so, we really hope you enjoy the site, and give us feedbacks and suggestions on how we can improve it.
History
Anime Love Reports was founded and created during the summer of 2008 by webmistress, Meruki. The idea of ALR came around during 2006-2007, though. First it was a "show" typed thing on 4kids, then a group on YouTube, then finally, it became a website, hosted on Webs.com.
Name of Origin
ALR wasn't always Anime Love Reports; before, it was named "Love Reports," but that sounded TOO girly and didn't fit the description of the site. And so, it officially became known as "Anime Love Reports" on December 2008.
Hosts
During summer 2008 - mid-summer 2009, ALR was hosted on Webs.com for its first year. However, as the site grew, Webs' 20 pages per account was simply not enough to nourish the growing site. During ALRs first birthday on the web, summer 2009, the owner of Eternal Flight, Raven, offered help; since then, Anime Love Reports has been running on her domain.
